Admissions

Admissions to the Reception Year are made in the September after your child turns four years of age.  Applications should be made between mid October and mid January to Bedford Borough Council and can be made electronically via their website.   Paper application forms can also be requested from the Admissions Team, at Bedford Borough Council.

If your child is already at a primary school and you want to move them to a different school you will need to apply for an in-year-place.  To complete the form online visit the Bedford Borough website.

You must apply for a primary school place for each of your children due to start in a Reception class or moving onto the next stage of school, even if your child attends Cygnets Nursery or you have an older child already attending Lakeview School. Do not assume that a place will be allocated automatically to a younger sibling.  Lakeview School follows the Bedford Borough Council Admissions Appeal procedure.

If you would like to apply for a place at our nursery, please complete the form below and return it to the school office.  A child can be admitted into our nursery at the start of term following their third birthday.
